The rip-rap beneath the boardwalk is large stones quarried from Wilkes County to blend in with the natural rocks of the State Park.
VI. Build just off the boardwalk is a shoreline patio that has a 25' yardarm ( nautical flagpole). The flooring of the patio is "Ipe" - another Brazillian hardwood.
VII. Along the shoreline and close to the natural sandy beach there are custom-created rock formations. The rock artist responsible for the rockscapes found at the North Carolina Zoo and Grandfather Mountain created the stone seawall, curved stairs that lead to the pier, as well as the curved rock stairs found on one end of the boardwalk that lead to the location of the future home.
VII. A long drive that begins at the cul-de-sac opens into a sweeping circular drive ( pea-gravel) that ends close to the location that a future home could rest. As an added bonus, there is a "natural" canoe or PWC launch that blends in with the shoreline.
A small island is just off the shoreline and within swimming distance ( does not obstruct any view or navigation pertaining to this lot). The current owner "adopted" the island from the "lake keepers" and they granted him permission to keep the island cleaned up. The is a perk that only adds to the uniqueness of this lot.
